Have you ever noticed that everybody wants change, but nobody can agree on what changes to make? Why does it seem like most people are unhappy with politicians, yet most politicians get reelected (or repalced by clones)?
A conservative Republican friend I have said that he read on the internet that most Pon Paul supporters are liberal hippies who are stoners and want lots of big government programs. What??? I've never met (or heard of) any like that. Well, I marveled Friday as an aquantence told me he likes Ron Paul; when I asked him if he was going to vote for Paul, and he said he will probably vote for Obama, just as he did last time. He thinks the President is going the right direction. I heard him tell someone else that he wants federal health scare. Say what??? Ron Paul would end all federal involvement in health care, probably even any federal regulation of hospitals, if he could. There is a big disconect in the people that vote.
I'm from Florida so I know people personally who can't vote (a girl who christmas treed her ballot). That stupor among the voters is the problem. Most people don't even know whom they're voting for, much less what they want. Please, if you're going to vote, look before you leap. Is this the change you wanted?
You tell me: How can we get people more ejukaded?
