Iowa Straw Poll

Everyone keeps saying that the Iowa straw poll is no indication of the primary winner, but in only one out of the five Iowa straw polls was the primaries winner lower than third place in the poll. There is also a psycological effect which creates momentum that could be used by the candidate. The odds are acctually very good that the nomination will go to Michele Bachmann (or Ron Paul). For those of you who didn't know, Tim Pawlenty dropped out, but Rick Perry joined, so there's no telling how well he'll do; he is very.
poular.

With only five Ames straw polls in history, there is really no way to be sure, especialy since McCain got 10th place and only 0.7 percent of the straw poll vote. I'm still wondering how McCain won the nomination, but anything can happen in politics. I can't wait to see what happens. Let me know what you think...
